Boys' golf team tops Milbank by Jim Prosser The VHS boys' golf team scored their first win at The Bluffs last Friday, Aug. 29 as they entertained Milbank in an 18-hole dual meet.
Final team results were:Vermillion � 312; Milbank � 343.
Scores for Vermillion varsity individuals were: Brad Schaack 70, Nathan Boots 80, Chris Moen 81, Alex Schaack 81, Jordan Boots 84, and Broc Gauer 91.
The JV team lost 357-347. Individual scores were:
Mikal Ustad 85, Daren Martin 87, Charles Odson 89, Ryan Powell 96, and Danny Davies 130.
Medalist for the varsity match was Brad Schaack; and JV medalist with an 80 was Chris Campbell of Milbank.
