Exchange vows Atlanta Rya Larson, daughter of Curt and Ann Haakinson of Vermillion, and Lafe Larson of Austin, TX; and Dr. Charles Price Meynier, son of Maurice and Karen Meynier of Houston, TX, were married March 29 in New Orleans, LA.
The ceremony was held at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with a reception following at The Columns Hotel on St. Charles Avenue.
Matron of honor was Heidi Heidecker Hanson. Bridesmaids were Stacie Hanson Bickett and Michelle Meynier Allien. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Piper Allien.
Candle lighters were Samantha and CJ Haakinson, sister and brother of bride. Amy Larson, sister of the bride, attended the guest book. Kathy Manus and Jeannie Turlington were the bride's personal attendants.
Maurice Meynier, father of the groom, and Joseph Meynier, brother of groom, were best men. Groomsman was Dr. Clay Hellner.
The ringbearer was Jeep Meynier, the bride and groom's dog. Brent Davis was a reader/usher and John Austin Larson and Noah Larson, brothers of the bride, also served as ushers.
Music at the reception was provided by James Rivers and The Movements, a New Orleans jazz and blues band.
The bride is a graduate of Vermillion High School and The University of South Dakota with a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene.
The groom is a graduate of Louisiana State University and LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. and Mrs. Meynier honeymooned for two weeks in North Carolina. The couple lives in Austin, TX, where Charlie is a veterinarian and Atlanta is a dental hygienist.
They both volunteer at the Humane Society of Austin and Atlanta is a member of the Junior League of Austin.
