Lewis & Clark chapter will meet at new center Members and guests of the Sergeant Floyd Tri-State Chapter of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation, Inc. will get a "sneak-peek" into the newest center to be built along the Lewis and Clark Trail.
The next meeting of the chapter will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 21, at the new Missouri National Recreational River Resource and Education Center at Ponca State Park in Ponca, NE.
Jeff Fields, park superintendent, will favor the chapter with a preview and tour of the new facility and overlook prior to it's official opening coming up in mid October.
Sgt. Floyd Tri-State Chapter members include Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota scholars and history enthusiasts who enjoy sharing the Lewis and Clark story. New members are always welcome.
