Sobriety checkpoint scheduled in October The South Dakota Highway Patrol will be holding a sobriety checkpoint during the week of Oct. 5 through Oct. 11 and Oct. 12 through Oct. 18 in Clay County.
In addition to detecting alcohol or drug impaired drivers, the South Dakota Highway Patrol makes use of the
sobriety checkpoints to remind the motoring public of the dangers of
drinking and driving.
