Strikers defeat Dynasty 3-1 Last Saturday, Sept. 13, the Vermillion Strikers (VYSL U12 girls) defeated the Yankton Dynasty 3-1. Goals were scored by Taylor Pollard, Chelsea Houska and Darice Cook. Along with a strong offense, the defense kept Yankton scoreless during play.
Yankton's only goal was from a penalty kick. Also key in the win was the excellent goal keeping by Alison Davey and MacKenzie Klinkhammer. The win puts the Strikers record at 2-0. The Strikers play against Yankton Spectra Saturday in Vermillion.
