University theatre to hold auditions for Women of Troy The University of South Dakota Department of Theatre will hold auditions for Women of Troy, a classic tragedy by Euripides, Monday, Sept. 29 at 5 to 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 5 to 6 p.m. in the Wayne S. Knutson Theatre in the Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts.

Auditions will consist of readings from the text. Those wishing to audition are asked to reserve a specific time by signing up on the University Theatre callboard in the east hallway of Fine Arts.

Performances for Women of Troy, which will be performed in a modern translation by Kenneth McLeish, are Dec. 3-7. Roberta Rude, associate professor of theatre, will direct the play and can be contacted at 677-5419 for more information.
