Eagles defeat Raiders 27-8 The Irene-Wakonda Junior High football team traveled to Gayville-Volin on Monday night to take on the Raiders. The Eagles came away with an impressive victory on the road with a final tally of 27-8. Leading the way for the Eagles was Eric Anderson scoring on runs of 26 yards and five yards.
Josh Nielson threw the ball well again connecting with Henry Hauger for a 15-yard touchdown pass and also to Jordan Mayer who scampered 15 yards for a touchdown. Hauger also had scored a 2-point conversion and Nielsen kicked an extra point.
