Eighth-grade volleyball team having very successful season

Eighth-grade volleyball team having very successful season On Sept. 16, the eighth-grade Lady Tanagers traveled to Lennox to play an A and B match.

The Tanagers won both matches. The B team won 25-15, 25-16. The A team also won its match � 22-25, 25-9 and 15-3.

On Sept. 25 the Tanagers traveled to Yankton to play four matches. The D team won an exciting third game 25-23 to win the match. The C team lost two games and won the last one. The scores were 24-26, 21-25 and 15-6. The B team won 25-21, 25-18 and 15-13. The A team also won its match 25-16, 25-16 and 15-7.

The girls are playing great right now. The Lady Tanagers will travel to Canton for a tournament on Oct. 4 and will host Elk Point Jefferson on Monday, Oct. 6. They will also travel to Worthing for the conference tournament on Oct. 7.
