Exchange vows Elizabeth Vaughan and Alan Lueth were married on Saturday, July 26, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wakonda with Father Joe Forcelle officiating.
Naomi Terkildsen was matron of honor for her sister and friend of the groom, Ryan Doering, who is currently deployed in Iraq, was best man in name if not presence. Ruth Vaughan, sister of the bride, and Janet Schmahl, sister of the groom, were bridemaids.
Brian Hoxeng, friend of the groom, and Andy Schmahl, brother-in-law of the groom, were groomsmen. Ashlynne Terkildsen and Matthew Terkildsen, niece and nephew of the bride, were flower girl and ring bearer.
Scripture readings were read by Jason Lueth, brother of the groom and music was provided by Bill Terkildsen, brother-in-law of the bride.
The bride's personal attendant was her mother, Roberta Vaughan. The bride was walked down the aisle by her father, Lee Vaughan. Greeters were Jason Iwan and Paige Nelson, friends of the bride and groom. A dinner reception was held at the McMahon Center following the ceremony.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Phillip High School. She has attended Southwest State University at Marshall, MN, and Dakota Wesleyan College at Mitchell, and plans to attend UMBC University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Wakonda High School and is currently serving in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Meade, MD. The couple will make their home at Severn, MD.
