Girls Scouts plan clothing collection The Girl Scouts of Vermillion are teaming up this year for Make a Difference Day with Social Services to collect mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and packages of socks.
The items can be dropped off at area schools, Hy-Vee, Jones' Food and the Vermillion Public Library from now till Oct.25.
All items collected will be used locally in the Vermillion area. The Girls Scouts thank the Vermillion community for its generous support of last year's school drive and hope to have a great drive this year as well.
