Junior high Eagles raise record to 9-2 with win The Irene-Wakonda Junior High football team traveled to Tea to take on the Titans.

The defense started off the scoring. Jordan Mayer from his safety spot intercepted a pass and ran it back 20 yards for a touchdown. Eric Anderson ran in the 2-point conversion.

The next series saw Josh Nielson return a punt for a 25-yard touchdown. Jordan Mayer ran in the 2-point conversion.

The offense also got into the act with the offensive line springing Jordan Mayer loose on a 40-yard touchdown run. Eric Anderson ran in the 2-point conversion.

The last score of the game for the Eagles came on a six-yard run by Eric Anderson. The extra point was no good.

With this win the Eagles' record is now raised to 9-2 on the year.
