Logue named student body president by Nicole Mosberger Senior Emily Logue was recently voted Wakonda's 2003-2004 student body president. Emily Logue is the daughter of Cathy and Charlie Logue.
Classmate Emma Jensen proved to be a tough opponent, but in the end Logue captured the most votes to win the position.
Logue said her first reaction was that she was very surprised.
"Emma was a tough opponent and I'm sure it was a close race," she said. "Nevertheless I was, and still am, happy to be student body president.
"As student body president I will strive to keep the students happy," Logue added. "Whatever changes they see need to be made (within reasonable terms) I will try my hardest to make."
