Others at 37 were Ross Johnson, Rod Tieman and Quentin Oleson; the team of Mo Marcotte, Ron Brown and Fred Koster, plus the team of Harlan Schott, Dave Zimmer and Ted Van Brueggen and finally David Bak, Pete Berglund, Ray Lynn and Howard Connors.
To round out the prize winners at 38 we had Jim Stewart, Don Bensen, Berwyn Svoboda and Dave Raabe and the team of Shorty Hanson, Jim Grabowski and Jack Doyle.
The course yielded six birdies this date and the tough par 5 hole #6 playing into the wind yielded four of the six birdies.
Our shot-of-the-day award is to be shared by Van Pierce for his 54-foot par putt on #4 and Dave Raabe for his approach shot on #4. Honorable mention goes to Joe Zuppo for his 25-foot par putt on #1 and the 30-foot putt for par on #4.
We had 39 players this date including Fred Koster, a guest from Kansas.
Plan for next Tuesday for seniors golf, food and conversation at The Bluffs on Oct. 14.
