Zimbardo will speak at USD The USD Department of Psychology is pleased to announce that Dr. Philip G. Zimbardo will present "The Psychology of Evil and the Politics of Fear" on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m., in Slagle Auditorium.
Zimbardo is a psychologist with a distinguished career. He has been a professor of psychology at Stanford University for over 30 years. Two of his most widely known contributions are his PBS-TV series, Discovering Psychology, and his Stanford Prison Experiment, conducted in 1971.
He has authored 300 publications, including numerous textbooks and trade publications, and is a past-president of the American Psychological Association. This lecture is free and open to the public.
