Gasoline prices slightly higher According to AAA South Dakota, motorists planning a trip to visit family, friends or vacation destinations this Thanksgiving may pay a bit more for gasoline than they did a year ago.
Today's average price of self-serve regular unleaded gasoline in South Dakota today is $1.581. This is about 8.4 cents more than a year ago.
The average price in Sioux Falls is about $1.49 per gallon. This is about 9 cents higher than a year ago. The Rapid City average is about $1.61, nearly 7 cents higher than a year ago.
The national average is $1.50 per gallon, up about 4 cents from a year ago.
