Thanks Pross! Vermillion High School football players, their parents and their coaches took time Tuesday night to honor Jim Prosser for his devotion to Tanager athletics. Vermillion High School football players, their parents and their coaches took time Tuesday night to honor Jim Prosser for his devotion to Tanager athletics. For nearly five decades, he has helped keep statistics for the Tanagers' various teams. Cold weather prevented him from attending the last two playoff games of the Tanager football team this season. To show their gratitude, team members autographed the ball from the playoff victory against Harrisburg and presented it to Prosser during a post-season barbecue for the Tanagers hosted by their parents at The Bluffs. Prosser (center, front row) was presented the ball by Gary Culver, head coach, Kellen Cusick, team captain, Gary Prosser, statistician, Mark Iverson, assistant coach, Collin Prosser, team captain, Jim McGuire, assistant coach and Paul Brunick, statistician.
