Check It Out by Anne Marshall Showcased Book of the Week
What makes a South Dakotan? There is no short explanation to this question. South Dakota Magazine has a reputation as the premier collector of good stories and pictures about life in our great state. Bernie Hunhoff, editor of the magazine, has come to realize that the stories from South Dakota Magazine have a value beyond entertainment.
Hunhoff and others have condensed, combined, and rewritten stories from the first 20 years of the magazine's existence. Our history, humor, adventures, challenges, and heartaches are collected together in a new publication, South Dakota's Best Stories.
