King reigns on DakotaDome court Senior forward Tommie King didn't miss a beat in his first game of the season, scoring 22 points and pulling down 10 rebounds in USD's 89-59 win over Concordia-St. Paul Sunday night in front of 1,803 at the DakotaDome.
As a team, South Dakota shot 47.8 percent from the field, but tied a season-low with just six 3-pointers (6-of-22).
USD outrebounded Concordia-St. Paul, 47-37. At the foul line, the Coyotes shot a solid 76.0 percent (19-of-25).
South Dakota returns to action Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Augustana Basketball Classic, taking on Minnesota State-Moorhead at 6 p.m. in the Elmen Center in Sioux Falls.
