Hesla, Nelson on chancellor's list Mikael Nelson and Jerad Hesla, of Vermillion, were named to both the chancellor's list and the dean's list at the University of Nebraska for the fall semester 2003.
` Chancellor's list members earned a 4.0 grade point average and dean's list members achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Hesla and Nelson, 2003 Vermillion High School graduates, are computer engineering majors enrolled in the UNL College of Engineering at the Peter Kiewit Institute in Omaha.
The Peter Kiewit Institute is home to both the UNL College of Engineering and Technology and the UNO College of Information Science and Technology. The two colleges are separate entities that offer a variety of degrees in information science, technology and engineering.
