Auditions slated at USD for Black Hills Playhouse

Auditions slated at USD for Black Hills Playhouse The University of South Dakota Department of Theatre will host auditions and technical interviews for the Black Hills Playhouse's 2004 summer season and the Children's Theatre Company of South Dakota on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

Interviews for technical theatre positions will occur in 15-minute slots from 9 a.m. to noon in Room 110 of the Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts, while auditions for actors will be in five-minute increments from 2 top 4:30 p.m. in Room 180 of Fine Arts.

Technicians are asked to bring a resum� and portfolio that exhibits artistic or craft processes. Actors will present two contrasting pieces and a short musical selection.

All interested parties can reserve a specific time for their interview or audition by signing up on the theatre call board or by calling (605) 677-5736.

The Black Hills Playhouse 2004 season includes Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, The Philadelphia Story, The Playboy of the Western World, Once Upon A Mattress, and The King and I.
