Couple donates equipment to hospital's PT department Tim and Wanda Hannahs recently donated a pulse oximeter to the Physical Therapy Department at Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center.
The equipment is used in physical therapy to help monitor heart rate and blood
oxygen saturation during exercise.
"This is a device that will help us determine during exercise a patient's tolerance for exercise. This information is crucial in developing the most appropriate program for our patients. We are extremely grateful to the Hannahs family for their generous donation," said Bob Brockevelt, rehabilitation services manager at Sioux Valley Vermillion.
