Merrigan accepted at MSU ­ Mankato

Merrigan accepted at MSU � Mankato Sarah Merrigan, daughter of Greg and Sally Merrigan, Vermillion, has been accepted for admission into Minnesota State University, Mankato, Walt Wolff, director of admissions, announced this week.

Merrigan is active in student council, Natural Helpers, Teen Angels, St. Agnes Youth Group, National Honor Society, and had served as yearbook editor. She plans to study elementary education.

Minnesota State University, Mankato, a comprehensive university within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system, offers more than 150 programs of study ranging from the traditional liberal arts to highly technical fields. The university is located in Mankato, MN.

The university is comprised of six undergraduate colleges, and a graduate college. It offers six baccalaureate degrees, seven master's degrees, a specialist degree and other advanced programs, two associate degrees for two-year programs, and several pre-professional programs of study.
