Moore named USD women’s tennis coach

Moore named USD women's tennis coach University of South Dakota Athletic Director Joel Nielsen has announced that Jean Moore has been named head coach of the women's tennis program at USD.

Moore, who resides in Dakota Dunes, recently completed work to become a certified pro by the Professional Tennis Registry, which is the world's largest organization of teachers and coaches of tennis.� This summer, she will also assume head tennis instructor duties at Dakota Dunes Country Club.

"I am honored and excited�to join The University of South Dakota and feel that growing this program will�be a great opportunity.�I will bring a great deal of energy to the team. We are all excited about the upcoming season," she said.

A graduate of Wayne (NE) State College in 1987, Moore, formerly Jean Graves, was a two-time state qualifier while playing tennis at South Sioux City High School.
