Vermillion girls' JV falls to Wagner 29-22 by Jim Prosser The Vermillion girls' junior varsity Tanagers fell victim to a second-half rally and were downed by Wagner 29-22 in basketball Jan. 27 at Wagner.
Vermillion had led by two at halftime.
The Tanagers fell behind 6-4 at the end of the first period, went into the locker room up 16-14 at halftime, and then trailed 21-17 after the third period.
Vermillion JV saw its record fall to 2-4, while WHS upped its mark to 4-2.
Vermillion made 3 of 10 free throw attempts while Wagnermade 8 of 12 free throw tries.
