Brian Iverson joins corporation legal dept. Brian Iverson recently joined Black Hills Corporation's legal department as associate corporate counsel. Iverson has been a practicing attorney since 1996, and prior to that, he was a practicing CPA and held audit and audit management positions in the banking industry.
Born in Viborg and growing up in Vermillion, he attended The University of South Dakota, obtaining his B.S.B.A. in accounting in 1984 and his M.B.A. in 1993.
Iverson received his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1995, and was selected for the Sterling Honor Society.
His community activities include serving on the boards of Rapid City Economic Development's Rapid Fund, Western Resources for Disabled Independence, and the Black Hills Blues Society.
He is an honorary commander for Ellsworth Air Force Base.
Brian and his wife, Linda, have two children, Emily, 10 and Daniel, 6.
