Chamber Chat by the Vermillion Area Chamber/Development Company "Food for Friends" � Anyone joining Curves for Women in the week of March 8 can bring in a bag of groceries and have normal service fee waived.�Curves will be collecting donations Monday through Friday at 5 East Main for the month of March.

"Why Not Enjoy The Process" � Thursday, March 11, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Neuharth Center.�Chamber members and employees are invited to attend a showing of "Why Not Enjoy The Process" by Steve Rizzo, sponsored by Hy-Vee and First Dakota National Bank.�Motivate yourself and employees through this film that deals with everyday challenges and how to overcome them.

Hosting � On Thursday, Feb. 26, Lisa hosted a prospective business interested in Vermillion.�We have been working with this company for the past few months, and we welcome them back for their fourth visit to our community.

South Dakota Department of Tourism and State Development has announced that Jim Hagan has been appointed the new secretary, replacing John Calvin who left his position in December.�
