Job search publications are available A new series of publications from the South Dakota Cooperative Extension Service offers advice on how to get a job and be successful in the workplace.
The series contains nine publications, numbered Extension Extra 15002 through Extension Extra 15010. The publications are entitled What are Your Job Skills and Interests? How to Write Your Resume, Include Cover Letter With Your Resume, References and Letters of Recommendation, Filling Out a Job Application, The Job Interview, The Job Interview Follow-Up Letter, Your Appearance at Work, and How To Be Successful On the Job.
Extension Youth Development/4-H Specialist Carolyn Clague wrote the publications. She says they are primarily intended for people who are either new to the workforce or changing careers.
The series will be useful for teens and young adults who enter the workforce for the first time, and can also assist adults who are changing jobs.
