One nominator said, "During a turbulent transition from the dissolution of one clinic to the formation of another, Sharon was the keystone of the USD Psychiatry Program."
Another nominator said, "If she ever resigns or retires, it will take two people to replace her."
"When the med students begin their clerkships it's like a big puzzle and I just enjoy putting those pieces together and making it run smoothly," Kueter said. "I just love working with the med students and if there is anything I can do to help them then I try to do it."
Kueter lives in Sioux Falls and has worked at USD for nearly 17 years. She stays busy keeping up with nine brothers and sisters and 18 nieces and nephews. She is anxiously awaiting the day she can help her nephew, Joseph Mahoney, a Medical Alumni Scholar at USD from Sioux Falls, through the psychiatry department.
