Roads topic of meeting The S.D. Motor Carrier Service and the Union County Extension Service are teaming up to inform farm operators about issues that affect their farming operations.
Jon Nelson will discuss road regulations, load limits, and bridging length�rules that are effective when operating in South Dakota.
This is also a time to become updated in the fuel tax regulations, and an opportunity to ask questions about specific truck and bridge requirements.
The program registration begins at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 18 at the courthouse in Elk Point.

All interested farm operators in our area are welcome to attend. The program is free and producers will be more informed about road regulations and farm issues.�
