Vermillion man on advisory council Gov. Mike Rounds announced March 11 that he is forming an advisory council to work with the medical community in South Dakota to maximize funding for spinal cord and traumatic brain injury research.
Dr. Robert Morecraft, University of South Dakota, Vermillion, has been named to the council.
"Research is one of the keys to South Dakota's future," said Rounds.
One of the people responsible for the development of the advisory council, Rep. Matt Michels, Yankton, said he is pleased with the effort.
