Aga will present voice recital Sunday Amanda Aga, a member of the Augustana Choir, will present an afternoon voice recital at Bergen Lutheran Church this Sunday, April 18, at 2:30 p.m. in the church santuary.
Following the recital, lunch will be served in the church fellowship hall. The public is cordially invited to attend this event.
The Bergen Church is located approximately seven miles west of Vermillion on Timber Road.
Aga is a freshman music education major at Augustana College in Sioux Falls.
The choir will tour Ireland this spring from May 26 through June 9, including the cities of Belfast, Killarney and Dublin. The two week concert tour is titled "Peace and Reconcilation."
The Augustana Choir is an a cappella choir and is noted for the honesty of its presentation and its recognition of the importance of maintaining the strong choral traditions of the colleges of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
The singers are devoted to bringing their "sermon in song" to audiences anywhere in the world. Over the past 10 years, they have shared their music with the people of France, England, Norway, Austria, Wales, Germany, Ireland, and Italy on six tours.
In preparation for the Ireland Concert Tour, this recital is being presented to help raise the necessary funds. Free will donations will be accepted.
