Engaged Gary and Julie Johnson, Wakonda, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Johnson, to Jay Blankenfeld, son of Jim and Kay Blankenfeld, Irene.

The future bride is a graduate of Southeast Technical Institute with a degree in nuclear medicine. She currently works at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainsville, FL.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Southeast Technical Institute with a degree in civil engineering. He is currently working as a project manager in Gainsville, FL. The couple is planning a June 5 wedding.
