Requiem will be performed The Requiem By Gabriel Faure will be sung on Palm Sunday, April 4 at 10:30 a.m. By the senior choir of The United Church of Christ, Congregational, Jeanne Dahlin directing.
Soloists will be Christopher Mitchell, baritone, of the USD music faculty and Amanda Vande-Zanda, soprano, who is a music major at USD.
The work will be accompanied by an orchestra with Anna Vorhes, harp; John Thomson, Owen DeJong, violins; Karen Lipp, Kent Graber, violas; and cellists Clarissa Barnes and Lee Thorson.
