Trip being planned to Lewis & Clark exhibit The Missouri State Historical Society has brought together a once in a lifetime exhibit of more than 600 original expedition artifacts, documents and artwork from material donated to them by the Lewis and Clark families in the past and from the collections of many other institutions.
The Sergeant Floyd Tri-State Chapter of the National L&C Heritage Trail Association is sponsoring a bus trip to St. Louis June 18-20 to see the exhibit as well as visit other Lewis and Clark sites and the Gateway Arch.
The cost is $237/person double occupancy or $311 single. The trip will be limited to 50 people. Initial deposits should be made as soon as possible and final payments will be due by May 15. The exhibition Web site is lewis&clarkexhibit.org. A flyer about the trip is available from Mark Wetmore at 605-624-3748 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
