Unemployment insurance topic of April 22 seminar The Siouxland Employers' council of Iowa (ECI) is sponsoring a Tri-State Unemployment Seminar for area businesses on April 22. The seminar will provide a discussion of the differences in the unemployment insurance systems in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.
The three guest speakers include: Dan Anderson, chief administrative law judge, Iowa Workforce Development; Jim Marsh, director, division of Labor and Management, South Dakota Department of Labor, and Terry Nice, chief administrative law judge, Nebraska Appeal Tribunal.
The seminar will be held April 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Upper Level, Sioux City Convention Center, 801 4th Street, Sioux City. Cost of the seminar is $40 per person.

The Employers Councils of Iowa are groups of employers who work in partnership with Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) to meet the workforce needs of employers.
