USD receives research grant

USD receives research grant U.S. Senator Tim Johnson has announced that The University of South Dakota will receive $230,736 in funds for cancer research from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The research is focused on breast cancer cells.

These funds will help scientists on the USD campus research the p27 mutations, which may play a role in slowing cancer growth," he said.
