Vermillion golf team wins first dual match by Jim Prosser The Tanager girls' golf team won its dual match last Thursday, April 8 vs West Central. The play took place at the Central Valley Golf Course in Hartford.
The varsity girls placed first with a 373 score, while the Lady Trojans ended with 413. Capturing medalist honors was the Tanagers' Jackie Thomas with a 79 for the 18 hole match. Other Tanager scoring results were: Anna Isaacson � 93, Sara
Mayer � 100; Sarah Christopherson � 101; Chelsea Gauer � 104; Paige Prosser � 120.
The JV matches were 9 hole competitions. Vermillion swept the match 237-290 over West Central.
VHS JV scoring was: Lauren Higgins � 53 (medalist), Kelsey
Osbourne � 54; Clare Bucklin � 61; Melaney Porter � 69; and Liz Day � 89.
