125th Celebration in Freeman You are invited to attend Freeman's 125th Celebration, marking the 1879 founding of the town, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 25, 26, and 27.
Plans include a wide range of activities including a carnival, parade, all-school reunion, displays, demonstrations, walk/run, antiques and arts in the park, community band performance, street dance, community worship service, baseball games, and fireworks.
Activities get underway Thursday afternoon when the carnival opens at the Pioneer Hall parking lot. Trolley service is planned to accommodate people who wish to park at the Freeman High School or Pioneer Hall parking lots.
The parade will travel down Freeman's Main Street at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Much of the activity will be taking place on Main Street, at Heritage Hall Museum, and at Lions Park. Antiques and Arts in the Park will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lions Park on Saturday.
