Prosser, Brown receive Wayne State awards

Prosser, Brown receive Wayne State awards Collin Prosser and Tyler Brown, both of Vermillion, have received Student Opportunity Awards to attend Wayne State College this fall.

The Student Opportunity Award recognizes students who have demonstrated involvement and leadership in their school and community and plan to continue that level of involvement at Wayne State.

Prosser, the son of Gary and Sheila Prosser, is a 2004 graduate of Vermillion High School. His high school activities include football, basketball, baseball, track, chorus, show choir, plays, musicals and band.

Brown, the son of Danny and Sandra Brown, is also a 2004 VHS graduate. His high school activities include football, basketball, track, cross country and youth basketball camp volunteer.

Wayne State College, a regional public four-year college located in northeast Nebraska, is a member of the the Nebraska State College System.
