Herseth launches Web site Rep. Stephanie Herseth launched her Congressional Web site recently, making it easier for South Dakotans to learn about pending legislation, contact her office, and express their opinion on important issues.
The site can be found at www.house.gov/herseth .
"I invite all South Dakotans to visit my Congressional Web site to find out more about what I'm doing to serve them in Congress, as well as to contact me about the issues they care about," Herseth said. "As our lone member of Congress, one of my highest priorities is keeping in close touch with the people of South Dakota, and I hope this Web site will be a great way for thousands of South Dakotans to learn more about legislation that affects their everyday lives."
Herseth was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in the June 1 special election. She has taken positions on three committees, including Agriculture, Resources and Veterans' Affairs.
