Holes-in-one at The Bluffs by Jim Prosser There was more than the usual excitement near hole # 5 at The Bluffs during the July 25-29 period. Demonstrating that golf is for all ages, two people recorded aces during separate rounds of golf.
Helen Brown, playing the red tee box, used a five iron from 90 yards to record her hole-in-one. Witnessing the 74 year old's accomplishment were Vern and Joan Holter and Alice Christensen.
Alex Schaack, a youngster in his early teens, played a seven iron from 142 yards and had the thrill of scoring an ace witnessed by his mom and dad.
