New Century Club member named The Century Club is excited to recognize its newest Century Club Member Alma Nelson. Alma was born July 20, 1904 in Canton, and currently lives at the Sioux Valley Vermillion Care Center in Vermillion.
Nelson's advice to others who wish to live long and rewarding lives is to keep active.
The Century Club is the creation of the S.D. Health Care Foundation (SDHCF) and KELOLAND Television. It is open to everyone in the state of South Dakota upon the celebration of his or her 100th birthday. There are no dues and every inductee receives a specially designed, matted and framed certificate. The Century ClubSM has over 575 members.
To club sponsors, age is a matter of feeling, not of years; and that makes Alma Nelson over a century young! For additional information about how to become a Century Club member visit www.sdhca.org and click on the Century Club Button or contact LuAnn Severson, South Dakota Health Care Foundation at 1-800-952-3052.
