Post #1 baseball team renews winning trend by Jim Prosser Friday June 25, Post #1 resumed their dominance over Alcester when they won both ends of a doubleheader played at Prentis Park ball field.
Brad Schaack was the first game winner with a steady six-inning performance giving up one run on four hits, and registering four Ks. The team backed him up with only one error and the offense contributed seven runs on seven hits.
Leading the offense was: B.J. Campbell � 2 for 3, two runs, one rbi; Eric Chase � 1 for 3, one rbi; Chris Chase � 2 for 2, one run, two rbis; Ben Oberle � 1 for 3, one rbi; and Schaack aided his cause with 1 for 2 batting, one run and one rbi. Jared Burcham scored twice and Jason Donald � one run.
In game two, Donald matched Schaack's pitching performance as he held the visitors to three runs on five hits with four Ks in the six-inning game.
