Small business workshop will be held in Yankton

Small business workshop will be held in Yankton A workshop being held in Yankton July 14 will offer helpful information to new or smaller businesses.

The workshop is sponsored jointly by the South Dakota Department of Revenue and Regulation, the South Dakota Department of Labor, the Small Business Development Center, and the Internal Revenue Service. The one-day, eight-hour session is scheduled at the S.D. Human Services Center, Staff Development Room 3A, 3515 Broadway Avenue. The workshop will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The workshop agenda includes a discussion by the Department of Revenue and Regulation on sales, use, and contractors' excise taxes.
