Boy Scouts make camp at Lewis and Clark The Boy Scouts of Troop 66 of the Sioux Council of Boy Scouts of America from Vermillion participated in a week-long camping experience July 18-24 at the Lewis and Clark Boy Scout Camp west of Yankton.
The scouts were given instruction and participated in preparing a campsite, putting up and taking down tents, preparing a campfire and campfire cooking. They also participated in a multitude of activities, including swimming, hiking, canoeing, sailing, astronomy and use of radio equipment.
This present group is one of the largest groups of scouts from Troop 66 ever to attend the Lewis and Clark Boy Scout Summer Camp.
