Engaged Mike and Carol Hemmingson, Wakonda, announce the engagement of their daughter, Becky Hemmingson, to Travis Van Beek, son of John and Phyllis Van Beek, Irene.
The bride graduated from The University of South Dakota and now works as a registered nurse at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. The groom graduated from Southeast Technical Institute and works as an engineering technician for the city of Vermillion.
The couple is planning a Sept. 25 wedding.
