New consumer handbooks ready Attorney General Larry Long has announced the new version of the South Dakota Consumer Handbook is now available to the public.
"The new handbook covers many of the newest scams that are targeting South Dakota Consumers," said Long. "Our goal with this book is to educate consumers to recognize scams and avoid becoming another victim."
Anyone interested in the latest edition of the South Dakota Consumer Handbook can contact the Consumer Protection Division at 1-800-300-1986 or consumerhelp@state.sd.us. Consumers can also get a look at the handbook by visiting the Attorney General's Web site at www.state.sd.us/atg.
