O'Connor studies fashion in Manhattan Molly O'Connor, a senior at Vermillion High School, spent the summer in Manhattan attending an intensive fashion design program at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
FIT, one of the premier fashion design schools in the nation, offers college level courses to aspiring fashion design students from across the nation.
O'Connor, while successfully receiving a 4.0 grade point average in both of her classes, also found time to experience the Manhattan life style. Among her favorite experiences were several Broadway plays, trips to China Town, Coney Island and learning to navigate the New York subway system.
While traveling to New York, O'Connor also visited a number of Midwestern and East Coast universities she is considering for next year.
