MADD chapter will meet Oct. 12

MADD chapter will meet Oct. 12 The Clay County chapter of "Mothers Against Drunk Driving" (MADD) will host its first meeting of the school year on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. at the Vermillion Fire/EMS station, 820 N. Dakota Street.

The guest speaker for the evening will be Clay County Sheriff Deputy Dallas Schnack. Deputy Schnack is the Clay County/Vermillion School Resource Officer and the advisor to the Vermillion High School chapter of "Students Against Destructive Decisions" (SADD).

Deputy Schnack will speak about the activities of SADD and demonstrate the "Fatal Vision" training program.
