Obituaries Joyce MacPhail
Joyce Hope MacPhail, 83, of Vermillion, formerly of Gayville, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004 at the Sioux Valley Vermillion Care Center.
She was born in Cogswell, ND on Dec. 29, 1920. She married Clell Warren MacPhail on Sept. 22, 1939 in Cogswell. Clell died in 1978.
Mrs. MacPhail is survived by two sons, William (Sharon) MacPhail II of Buckley, WA, and Robert MacPhail of Jasper, GA; two daughters, Carmen (Curtis) Haaland of Aberdeen, and Lynne (Ralph) Brown of Vermillion. She is also survived by two sisters, Ethel Christenson, and Maxine Strauch; eight grandchildren, and 11 great- grandchildren.
Private burial of ashes will be in Oakes, ND. Hansen Funeral Home in Vermillion is handling the arrangements.
